Avantra adds that, as an end-to-end tool for software maintenance, SAP Maintenance Planner allows enterprises to use integrated processes for SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps. By supporting hybrid use cases such as product analytics and hybrid landscape visualization, it can strengthen capabilities for on-prem systems.

According to Avantra, providing in-depth reports on possible side-effects that could impact an enterprise’s IT landscape is a leading reason behind Maintenance Planner’s growing popularity. Leveraging these reports, users can evaluate system updates and extension risks without depending on external tools.

Additionally, with the Execute Plan functionality, enterprises can choose and execute system installations from within the Maintenance Planner–no need to exit the Solution Manager.

While Maintenance Planner System Exploration allows users to efficiently evaluate their IT landscape via custom visualizations, with Transaction Exploration, they can get a quick overview of all the transactions created in the system.
